Number 3 resonates with me, I have 3 kids all in different after school activities and crazy schedules... my son always asks me why I don't talk in the car on the way home.... because after teaching 4th graders all day I am fricken brain exhausted....

Congrats on your life change. I grew up in Mesa/Apache Junction Arizona and then lived in the White Mountains of Arizona for 15 years. Absolutely beautiful state. The heat of the valley can REALLY get to you! Plus its extremely crowded. However the White Mountains area is where id move back to 100 times over! Just breath taking.

I pray that there is an entire shift in our education system. Teachers are my heroes. Our teachers and kids deserve a better system where there is respect and balance all around.

We bought an electric smoker that was defective when we received it. When we requested a new one, hubby had to cut the cord that same way. I guess it's a thing with postage being so high. Glad they are sending you a new one. Were you engaged before you stopped teaching? Congratulations!

I’m looking into quitting the teaching field I’m not interested in getting my teaching certification nothing. The students don’t listen and the pay isn’t the best at all. I am looking into healthcare. I’ll stay in teaching until I can get done with my medical assistant program and then apply to nursing school yep. 🙏🏾😞

I’ve been teaching for three days and I already feel like you. I tried to resign yesterday, but my students, my team and principal convinced me to stick it out a little more. I’m going to try to stick it out until the end of the year. However, this will be my first and last year teaching.

I cannot emphasize this enough: do NOT become a teacher. It will destroy you. I left and my high blood pressure, mental health, everything improved. I am happy again

I know this is an older video. My wife and I are planning on moving to Alaska this Winter/Spring. I won't be able to do my current work and was thinking about teaching again. I had taught school for a year in a very rural part of Louisiana as a Middle/Highschool SPED teacher for the entire parish/county. Seeing what the kids went through on regular basis was very upsetting and this video brought up a lot of those emotions. Thank you for posting this. I loved my kids, but I'm don't believe I could take the emotional stress and drain that it put on me.
